Dr. Philip Barlow lectured on the Claremont campus on “The Five Meanings of Joseph Smith’s ‘Restoration.'” Professor Barlow is the holder of the Leonard J. Arrington Chair of Mormon History and Culture at Utah State University and his book, “Mormons and the Bible: The Place of the Latter-day Saints in American Religion,” already a Mormon classic, has just been reissued.
